Product Description

To finish off your newly installed windowsill overlay in an aesthetic way, you need end caps. Match their shade to the colour of the windowsill – your choices include: White (for White and Marble), Golden Oak, Nut and Winchester.

Your windows are the most exposed element of every interior. That’s why they need a good setting and finish, Vilo windowsills can provide just what you are looking for.

Vilo overlays are not only a quick and inexpensive solution, the quality of the product allows you to place anything from plant pots, books and newspapers, or your morning mug of coffee without damaging the material.

Windowsill overlays are recommended if you need to mask a damaged windowsill that is difficult to remove. Alternatively, you can browse our Chamber Windowsills range to replace your windowsill altogether.

Installation

Windowsill overlays are easier than ever to install.

  1. Before mounting the overlay, store it for
    5 hours in a room at 20°C.
  2. Measure the window recess, where the overlay will be mounted. Cut the sill to the desired dimensions using a fine-toothed saw.
  3. Clean the substrate to remove dust and apply
the installation glue. Slide the overlay onto the
    old windowsill.
  4. Remove the protective film from the surface of the overlay.
  5. Fix the end caps of the overlay using an instant glue (e.g. "Super Glue").
  6. Fill the gap between the sill and the wall using silicone.
